January,U-no-lv-ta-ni ᎤᏃᎸᏔᏂ, is called windblown or Cold Moon.

February, ka-ga-li ᎧᎦᎵ, is called the boney moon or “month when the stars and moon are fixed in the heavens”

March, A-nvh-yi (ᎠᏅᏱ) refers to Strawberries. 

April is ᎫᏬᏂ (Ku-Woh-Ni) which refers to “when the ducks return” or “ducks swim in pond” month.

June, (ᏕᎭᎷᏱ De-ha-lu-yi) refers to the green corn ceremony and month of blackberries.

May, (ᎠᎾᏍᎬᏘ ) a-na-s-gv-ti, is associated with strawberries and pottery making.

July (ᎫᏰᏉᏂ, gu-ye-gwo-n) refers to huckleberries.

August ( Ga-lo-ni ᎦᎶᏂ) is wild grapes month, also refers to drying up of the streams.

September (Du-li-s-di ᏚᎵᏍᏗ) translation is unknown but may be close to Bounding Bush Feast.

October (ᏚᏂᏃᏗ, du-ni-do-di) is the harvestime month and Great New Moon Ceremony.

November (Nv-da-de-gwa ᏅᏓᏕᏆ) is Big moon Month or Trading Month.

December (ᎥᏍᎩᏱ, v-sgi-yi), means Snowy.
